Cindy Limauro

Principal Designer

Cindy Limauro designs for theatre, opera, dance and architecture. In addition to being a partner in C&C Lighting she is a Professor of Lighting Design at Carnegie Mellon University in the Schools of Drama and Architecture. She is a member of United Scenic Artists (USA), International Association of Lighting Designers (IALD) and was named a Fellow of the Institute by USITT for Outstanding Contribution to the Theatre. In 2011, Ms. Limauro was invited to speak at an International Symposium on Lighting Design in China. She served for two years as the Artistic Leader of the Prague Quadrennial Scenofest 2011 and was the US representative on the Education Commission of OISTAT, from 2005-2010, traveling to Helsinki, Vancouver, London and Moscow.
